My father sent this photo to keep me up to date about the change of seasons in Germany.
It shows the creek Kleine Ohe near Waldhäuser in Bavaria.
I have been trying to convince my father to travel with me sometimes, so that he can take photos and I can focus on writing. If you think that this is a good idea, please leave a comment below, so that I can show him that there is popular demand. Other examples of his photos are here, here and here. He also takes the best photos of me.
Andreas’s Vater: bitte bitte mit ihm Farhe von Zeit zu Zeit, und
photographieren! Daß würde für siene Leser noch mehr Sclaraffenlandisch als siene Schrieben allein!
Excuse my poor German, Andreas – nowhere near as perfect as your colliquial English, and full of spelling and grammatical errors I am sure.
But as heartfelt as it can be: what a wonderful idea, your father must do it!
Viele Grüße an euch Beide,
Jackie (Boronow Danson)
Thank you very much, equally heartfelt, vielen herzlichen Dank!!
And everyone knows that German is a hundred times more complicated than English, so it’s not fair to compare the two. Also, English is everywhere, so it’s easy to keep practising, while even in Germany, many people will respond in English when you speak German.
It would be wonderful to have a collaboration with your father. What a great team you would be, sharing your skills. Go for it.
Thank you!
And I wouldn’t need to worry about taking photos anymore, which is anyway the part of blogging which I don’t like that much.
Exactly! More time to concentrate on your writing.
What’s there to lose? Sounds like a wonderful idea. An experienced traveler and an experienced eye…great combination. Ja!
Thank you!
I absolutely agree. And it would free me up to focus on stories and on writing.
Hi Andreas
I am following your blog since 2014, looking at photos shot by your father, he is a real professional photographer.
I am in support of the idea and request your father through this blog to join you for the photography.
In this situation we will also have a chance to have great photos from your father.
It’s a great idea!
I absolutely love that picture “ of day the school” !
I would appreciate the opportunity to rest my eyes on some more long exposure photographs of your dad. So yes, thumbs up for the tandem ! :-)
Thank you!
We are indeed planning a summer tour together now. Details coming soon.
