Winter is Coming

Suddenly, there were heaps of that crazy white stuff all over the place.

It did make the cold a little bit more agreeable, though.

Anyway, it was a good enough reason to leave the desk and computer for a day and get completely lost, because everything looked so different from its usual state of affairs. Even the signs, usually of much help to those us without fancy phones, were obscured. Luckily, I found back home just before darkness descended on this winter wonderland.

About Andreas Moser

Travelling the world and writing about it. I have degrees in law and philosophy, but I'd much rather be a writer, a spy or a hobo.

  1. Thank you sharing the photos. I like to “visit” snow when it falls in the local mountains, then go back home, and “visit” other people’s photos. 😂😂
Snow is beautiful, but I don’t think I would like living in it.

    • What I like about snow is that it makes everything more quiet. At least it feels that way.

And you suddenly see who/what walks there, at least in the countryside. You can spot the marks of other humans, of dogs, of foxes, of deer, of horses, like a map of everyone who has already walked there that day.
