Sunrise at the Cemetery

Zur deutschen Fassung.

Of the many things that people find weird about me, two of the most frequently asked questions are “Why would you go to a cemetery?” and “Why do you get up at 5 o’clock if you don’t need to?”

The answer lies in these pictures, taken this morning.

Regard them as a teaser for more about Skogskyrkogården, Stockholm’s Woodland Cemetery, coming soon. Then, I will also reveal the role of the cemetery cat.

  2. Sunrise and sunset are gifts, and a perfect time to pause, reflect and appreciate the beauty all around us! Thank you for sharing those stunning colors.

My sunrise was completely overcast, which actually made me happy because it meant cooler temperatures. Maybe we’ll stay out of the 30s C today. We’ve had too many 34°-37°C days!!

    I like cemeteries. And cats.😁

Bellas fotos, bello gato. Me inquieta saber que hace en el cementerio.

  4. Maybe I get the answer to the graveyard question. But the other question, no. You could look west at sunset to get a very similar photo. Maybe that’s what this is
