When Donald Trump will speak at the annual meeting of the NRA, surely talking about the 2nd Amendment, attendees will have to leave their firearms outside.
And I thought more guns were supposed to make every place safer.

I was wondering if guns were banned from the hall. Here is a direct quote from the speech: “As your President, I will never, ever infringe on the right of the people to keep and bear arms. Never ever.”
He doesn’t even notice the irony.
And all the “states’ rights” advocates didn’t seem to mind that it was a federal agency that banned guns in the hall.
I bet this would have been an issue if Obama had given a speech at the NRA meeting while being President.
Maybe Trump was also more afraid because he had previously suggested that an elected President could/should be shot.
But then, I doubt he remembers what he said more than a day ago.
