I wanted to make a joke about there not being any “Intellectuals for Trump” group, but just to make sure, I did a quick search. And there really is an “Intellectuals for Trump” page on Facebook. It’s nothing serious and has only 109 followers. To put that into perspective, I have more than 35,000. My content is also 321 times more intellectual than their cat videos.
When I pointed this out to the group,
to their credit, they readily admitted I was right. And then veered off into ungrammatical, unsyntaxed, error-ridden, nonsensical gibberish.
Much like Donald Trump himself.
If these are the most intellectual supporters of Trump, I shudder to think what the average supporter is like.
On the other hand, if they think that Trump has the markings of the good president because he’s not Hillary Clinton, they may just as well consider themselves intellectual because they read a book once.
These might be the kind of people who count their driving test preparation as “reading a book”.
