Walking across a bridge in Kalemegdan Park in Belgrade, Serbia, when suddenly the ground moved up under heavy groaning and moaning was one of the scariest moments in my life. I could only take this one photo, and then I ran.
I haven’t dared to return since.
I think I’d run too. I don’t think I’d even stop for the photo.
It was more of a reflex.
The man on the other side stopped too long, I think, for I heard terrible screams while running away.
How intriguing.
Maybe some of my readers from Belgrade can go to Kalemegdan and see what the bridge looks like now. I myself am too scared to go back.
Perhaps. It would certainly be interesting to see. Perhaps there is no more bridge.
Wow! That’s crazy!
Too bad I couldn’t record the sound, that was even crazier.
A tectonic earthquake, or was there some mining, or has an underground been built there like in Cologne?
