After the vicious threats against my life this morning, I have assembled everything that I could find in my armoury. Now, I am prepared. Prepared for the full onslaught or the sneak attack, prepared at day and at night, at home and on the road. I am prepared to defend myself with the latest military hardware.
Of course, I don’t want a war. But I hope that the arsenal that you see here proudly displayed will be enough of a deterrence to make you think twice. Or thrice, if necessary.
Of course I also have the ammo to go with it. Somewhere.
This is a bit immobile. But I will lure you into an ambush before you realise it.
And yes, I got myself a tank:
I may have nuclear weapons, even. But I will neither confirm nor deny this.
Peace!
OMG! I found this so funny, and yet kinda worrying.
I was also threatened in Malta via my blog; it was a very unpleasant episode but fortunately I had a lot of support from a lot of people. I will always defend freedom of speech and the freedom to use sarcasm as one pleases, but I’d recommend (our of practicality and common sense more than actual fear) to make one’s blog less personal (i.e. using real names and so on). There are a lot of sick people out there and the Internet is still pretty anarchical when it comes to bullying.
For the record, I like how you write and your blog offers a different perspective about things, not only Malta but also life, politics and many other things. Readers should know how to read between the lines and not take things too much to heart, even if the comments are about one’s own country.
Peace and Respect!
M16 or sarcasm? Tough choice. I suspect the latter, will in the long run, be more effective :)
Look after yourself (and your armoury).
Moser you rock & your humour is awesome! On the other hand the ridiculous comments that have been pouring in have also been ‘funny’….. there are so many clueless trolls around !!
Now you’ve done it. Expect someone to send the police over to search your premises for that tank.
I know, I am already half expecting them. And it was really hard to hide the artillery in my cookie box.
Finally, I will find out if the Maltese police have a SWAT unit.
This is soo funny.. Are you sure you’re from Germany??
Quite so, yes.
I like the tank idea. That could solve an ongoing problem for me …
