“Why do you want to work for the Intelligence Service, Mr Moser?”
“Well, I think I am quite intelligent.”
“Ok. You will hear from us.”
I never did.
Links:
- More from the world of espionage.
- And more about work, of which I have even less experience. (Totally frustrated, I never went to another job interview.)
- The photo is from the movie “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy”.
Andreas —
I read this on a University website a few months ago.
“Becoming aware of privilege should not be viewed as a burden or source of guilt, but rather, an opportunity to learn and be responsible so that we may work toward a more just and inclusive world”
Check your privilege:
—White
—Male
—Class
—Christian
—Cisgender
—Able-bodied
—Heterosexual

Here is my question:
Why is being ‘intelligent’ never included in a list of unearned privileges?
Shouldn’t high IQ people give humble thanks every morning for their completely unearned gift?
Thanks,
Alex
Absolutely!
And I would include looks, too.
