Kyiv – Day 9/21 – National Colors

Already when I got on the Ukrainian train in Poland, I noticed its patriotic coloring.

Once in Kyiv, the metro has the same branding.

And then I spotted it everywhere:

I don’t think those patriotic plastic bags are coincidence.

And in the spring, it’s the blue sky and profusely-growing dandelions that show off the Ukrainian national colours.

    • That’s nice when nature coincides with a flag.
It reminds me of Estonia, where we were driving on a snow-covered road through black forest late at night, yet the sky was still dark blue. “And now you see where we got our flag from,” my Estonian host said.
