The argument about who is the best James Bond is rather moot because no actor could work forever. Also, times have changed since 1962 (when Dr No was released) and it’s unfair to blame Roger Moore now for his clothing style. Your (and my) parents wore the same silly pants and jackets in the 1970s.
My personal favorite is Pierce Brosnan, though, which might just confirm my theory that most people like the actor who was playing James Bond during the time they grew up.

Fans of Daniel Craig, don’t take it too serious, please. I do like the seamless editing between the scenes from different movies though.

I grew up watching Brosnan play Bond but I actually prefer Craig now. I think a big part of that is because the new movies with Craig are a bit more believable and not as “over the top” as the Brosnan movies.
That’s a good point. Imagine Pierce Brosnan in “Casino Royale”.
Out of the two I prefer Brosnan. Craig’s suits are too tight and he looks like a Club Bouncer. Did The National Enquirer alleged revelations to what apparently happened in a car park and a vulnerability due to a Morality Clause lead to Craig’s panic quickie marriage I wonder? (Note to Craig’s legal team, this is posed as a question…) ;)
Given how long Mr Bond’s marriages last (“On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”), we needn’t worry about this for long.

That one I found a bit too harsh even. But the “Hawaiian hobo” part was funny.
I agree with you. I like Brosnan and grew up with Brosnan from Remington Steele days, although I have watched Moore since I was a little kid, I never like him.
I think Brosnan is far more suave than Craig, a good representation of what a Bond should be. Craig is cool but the street fighter kind of cool and the kind of hard-core tough stunts that he did on Skyfall, befits him and his image. Can’t wait to see Spectre.
I did grow up with Brosnan and i really do think he’s a lot better then Daniel Craig. It’s not all Craig’s fault though it’s the story too and making him play cards for most of a movie by example or making stories where the bad guy is simply blocking the water supply it’s like common! Brosnan movies are about world domination nuclear war badass russian and fast cars with gadgets! The only gadget i remember from Casino Royale is a Defibrilator cause his heart stopped….

This is easy. Brosnan is taller so I would choose him over Craig. Daniel is 5’10”? Pierce is at least 6’2″.
