hahaha! He needs a fat, top of the range, cigar ..in his other hand… La Dolce Vita, in the sun.
I suppose you may have been inspiration for lots of people….to down tools and become (almost) rootless. I suppose some must regret it…I’m thinking modified ebike .(.trans europe and whatever else gets in the way, between here and Japan. Leaving out the Gobi desert).. You are a hermit, you say. Do you do no “social life”?….

    • I do meet with people when I know interesting ones, but I prefer to spend most of my time alone, walking, thinking, reading, writing.

That thought puts me in a good mood! Thank you! A love of solitude is acceptable ….(in the sense that no one will buzz rocks at you)…generally speaking…if you are talented, useful, or in one way or another, perceived as a valuable… non …member of society, as your blog proves you to be.. To be IDd …simply…as *loner*….makes me think more about portable self defences.. Pepper sprays, plastic replica AK 47s etc. I have never been sociable ..but lack your talent. …. On the Road..with a bike or a backpack .any ID of “Lone Traveller”..though a bit fragile…will not inspire aggression…. I think that’s true.
