After the Rain

On my way back by bicycle from Europos Parkas to Vilnius, I first got lost (just a tiny bit) and then got caught up in the rain. By the time I had reached a patch of forest to seek shelter, I had already been soaked and was shivering from the cold that rain and wind brought with it.

After the rain however, I was rewarded with this sight.

The forest on the left is the one that provided cover during the downpour.

  1. Very cool! And whenever you get done with that rain, could you send it over here? It’s been raining on and off for almost 4 days now, and we’re STILL in drought! By the by, if you want to get rich quick, buy US corn futures – our corn crop this year is gonna be horrifically low.

    • If there will be less popcorn, it will be quieter at the movies. That’s a good thing.

    • Heathen! Less popcorn is NEVER a better thing! ;) (Yeah, when they find my corpse, it’ll probably have a bag of popcorn on it somewhere. Only I could take daily doses of an opiate, but be addicted to popcorn. :D )

    Cheers-:)

  4. Andreas, that photo is AMAZING.
And I know you’re an atheist, but I still thank God when I see miracles like this :-)

    • Thank you! I got really wet and cold for this photo. :-)

And it’s not a miracle really. It has something to do with water, sun, light, spectrum and other physical things.

    • Someone had to make the water, sun, light, spectrum etc. :-)

    • That is a logical error of the non-sequitur kind. Just because there is something doesn’t mean that somebody had to made it. – Or, to stay in your logic, who made that somebody then?
