Very interesting. Are you aware of a reason for so many cats in Riga?
I don’t know, honestly.
Maybe people in Riga are just nice and thus naturally prefer cats over dogs.
I am not aware of any historical reason, but I hope that someone from Riga will read this and enlighten us.
But… but four cats is not many. Especially if only two of them seem to be actual living cats.
But you can walk around other cities for days and never see a single cat.
Hm, I should probably visit more big cities to verify this. :)
Hi Andreas! Nice pictures you have! There are cats on this house cos its owner put them with their tails turned towards the house of the Great Guild after he was refused membership there. You know, just an emotional gesture :) But as for me, I am originally from Latvia, but I am a dog, not a cat person!
Oh, thank you for that explanation!
And I hope the dangerous dogs which stopped me on the way to Gaizinkalns weren’t yours? ;-)
Ha, no no )) Take care!
Is it me or does the cat in the first photo look like it’s excreting?
How else is it supposed to tip-toe on top of the tip of that tower?
Are you a feline lover?
I am indeed.
I guessed so. I’m not a feline fan, but I liked the pictures nevertheless.
