One of my daredevil hikes in the Durmitor mountains in Montenegro led me to the summit of Mount Ćurevac (1,625 m = 5,331 ft), from where you can look down to Tara Canyon, the deepest canyon in Europe. Or rather could, if the clouds hadn’t gotten in between.
A few minutes after that, the clouds cleared up a little bit, opening up the view at least to the peaks of the mountains on the other side:
Later I read that the canyon is “only” 1,300 m (4,265 ft) instead of 1,500 m deep. But I didn’t feel like climbing back up to record the video again. – It was bad enough that I had almost fallen off the mountain when I filmed the first video.
