You can’t copy Paris

London, you should not have tried to copy the Eiffel Tower.

Even with immense good will on the part of the beholder, it does not look anything like this:

With an effort like this, France still doesn’t need to worry about anyone leaving France for the UK.

don’t worry. when the islamists take london, they will tear it down. (on the grounds that it goes against something written in the koran)

    good title …

  3. That is a monstrosity. What is it? And are you sure it’s not something designed in California.

I’ll take my towers with the name “Sears” or “Hancock”, thank you. (And yes, it is SEARS Tower – I don’t care what name they hang on the dang thing, it will ALWAYS be Sears Tower to we Chicagoans!)

As a Londoner I was hoping that it was made in an easily deconstructible manner so that it could be taken down as soon as the games stopped. According to wikipedia however, it’s permanent.

If only Al Qaeda could be relied upon to blow it up then I’d attach pictures of Kurt Westergaard to it and set up a fertiliser wholesaler nearby.
