“Mindfulness”

I know something is a fad when I see it advertised in a really small town in Andalusia.

Your home country of Germany is fad central: Walking on perfectly flat ground with Trekking Poles (Stocklaufen), unqualified „life coaches“, bio, chain smoking, fraudulent skin care products, you name it. Greetings from Gullibility Central (GC).

Whoops, forgot: Parking automobiles in a manner that blocks pedestrian sidewalks and forces disabled persons to use the roadway. That might be the biggest „fad“ of all in Germany.

When I see that I know I’m looking at a universal and necessary human urge. What’s your problem with the practice, and how do you feel about world hunger? Unmindful? Perhaps that or any one of a thousand other worthy causes might attract your ire instead of well intentioned explorations in inner growth and happiness? I don’t particularly appreciate the flavor of oolong tea, but don’t waste my time denigrating those who do.

Andreas, a general recommendation in the light of a recent scandal of travelling journalism (fake stories by Claas Relotius, https://www.nytimes.com/2018/12/23/world/europe/germany-der-spiegel-claas-relotius.html):
Always keep legal proofs (written confirmations and dated stamps from local police stations etc). of your travel. A very solid document would be for instance the release letter from Evin (just showing your swollen eyes and hematoma covered legs does not count !!! This could be self-inflicted to achieve Self-victimisation)
