In my house, The Life of Pie is “solitary, poor, nasty, brutish and short”, as Thomas Hobbes would have put it.
Well, this was definitely better than the film which had no pie in it at all.

Looks good, what kind is/was it and was there a good cup of coffee or tea to go with?
Apple pie, and I am such a barbarian that I had a glass of ice-cold Coke with it.
Please no, not Coke with pie, Coke is for White Cheddar popcorn or Cheetos, never pie. I won’t judge you this time, but please make your choices carefully. I will say though that Coke should never be anything less than icy cold.

I know, I know! (Respect for your good memory!)
But this was a one-time break from the diet, only to write a blog post. And I didn’t really eat it all at once. I actually still have half of it left for tomorrow. Or later tonight.
Also, the snow has disappeared, which kind of solved the problem. :-)

Looks like the life of this pie was short and sweet!
But wouldn’t being eaten and enjoyed be the highest goal to which pie could aspire?
But to be truly appropriate, shouldn’t you have cut the pie into 1/3s? (Or more accurately, 1/3.14159265……;) )
