My clothes line

One practical advantage of living in Sicily is that after doing the laundry, the clothes dry quickly thanks to the wind and the sun. But it’s a tough job to put up the clothes line between one part of the castle and the hill on the opposite side.

I can see your pantyhose and stockings hanging there drying as well.

  2. Oh, it’s not that hard to put up a line like that – it just requires a REALLY long line and a very nimble person! Or someone who’s a REAL good shot with a bow and arrow! :D
We don’t even have a dryer in our house, here in the wilds of Ohio. Then again, we don’t have passenger jets flying over, a couple hundred feet up, every 45-60 seconds, like we did in Chicago!

What a beautiful view. I would be reading a book by the lake after all that work too.
