A lonely chair

empty chair on pontoon GrutasI saw this at a frozen lake in Grutas, Lithuania and it made for a peaceful resting place after a long walk through the forest.

I wondered if somebody had left it on purpose or if he/she thought “I’ll pick it up before the first snow” and then something happened to that person.

Is this an old picture ? Or did you rendered it elder using Photoshop Sepia filtering ?
The chair is funny, maybe at night a big fish use to sit their waiting for bus to arrive.
Or it is the throne of a snow-princess.

    • No, I took it only two days ago, but I edited it with Picasa to make it lose the colours (of which there weren’t too many because it was a cloudy day).
