Walking in Il-Majjistral Nature Reserve on Malta, I saw this composition of a little hut, modern houses in the background and church towers on the other side.
I couldn’t get Popeye Village into the shot, but that would have been an even stronger contrast.

It is a hunter’s hide – there are lots and lots of them in Malta – and lots of empty cartridges in connection with these. The hunting law was changed with the sitting government – so sorry…..even songbirds can be shot.
Sometimes when I was hiking on Malta, I was afraid that the hunters would shoot me accidentally.
